Grower’s Best Worm Castings
The earthworm’s castings are an excellent all-purpose organic fertilizer that comes to you straight from nature with no human alterations whatsoever. Castings provide beneficial microbes and nutrients essential to optimum plant growth.
At Rocky Mountain Worm Company, LLC, we use only rich organic material, which contains a wide variety of minerals and trace elements to feed our worms. The earthworms digest this material, and in its passage through the worm, it is beneficially altered both chemically and physically. The end product is an extremely fertile, organic “super humus fertilizer,” properly conditioned for best root and plant growth. Grower’s Best Worm Castings deliver elements required to be in the earth for optimum plant nutrition.
Grower’s Best Worm Compost Tea
Our worm compost tea is an actively aerated liquid product made from specially produced high quality organic worm castings. It contains a great concentration of beneficial microbes and soluble nutrients, which are critical to plant growth and development. It is these microbes that have control over nutrient cycling, sequestration and pathogen suppression.
At Rocky Mountain Worm Company, LLC, we use only organic, refined compost to make this living product. This special compost is the complete, natural, by-product of earthworm digestion – worm castings.
Grower’s Best Earthworm Cocoons (Eggs)
Using cocoons (eggs) to populate the soil is often more efficient than introducing worms. Grown worms may die when removed from their usual soil and transported to a new soil environment. Earthworms that hatch into a new environment are able to adapt much more readily. So introducing worm cocoons is a much more effective way to increase the worm population in farm and garden soil.
African Nightcrawler Earthworms
African Nightcrawlers are a choice composting worm and fishing worm. Rocky Mountain Worm Company offers the finest African Nightcrawlers. This is a hearty worm that thrives in warm temperatures. An ambitious feeder, these are actually one of the most amazing composting worms in the right environment. They breed faster than red worms and grow bigger than European Night Crawlers. The African Nightcrawler also makes great fishing bait, especially with its overall length of 6” or more. These worms seem to have a purplish sheen to them when light hits their skin.
